Big and Rish interviewed on John Versus Patrick

Recently, J.M. Perkins (author of the "CHEMO" stories) interviewed Rish and Big about writing, podcasting, submitting work, our influences, current projects, Perkins' novel, our college experience, and THE AVENGERS. It was supposed to be a thirty-minute-to-an-hour conversation, but went two full hours.

And while Rish is usually loathe to tooting his own horn (much to the detriment of his career and the success of this show), this is pretty much the closest to horn-tooting you're gonna get from us.

TGMG 71: Some Assembly Required

So, Joss Whedon's THE AVENGERS is opening in just a few days, so Rish decided to talk to Big about it, what they are expecting, what they are hoping, and somehow they managed to do a positive episode on a show that's all about complaining about things.

TGMG 70: The Left Hand of Evil

Rish talks about his work this past year voicing Sinestro over at Misfits Audio's "Green Lantern :The Man Without Fear." The most recent episode, Hal Jordan's archenemy's origin and downfall reaches its highpoint.

Which is harder, turning to the Dark Side or speaking Amerizteclan?

TGMG 69: Games of Mars: Titanic Protocol

Okay, that's probably just confusing. Rish and Big talk a bit about the recent films JOHN CARTER (OF MARS), MISSION IMPOSSIBLE 4, and THE HUNGER GAMES. Oh, and TITANIC.

Also, we realize there is SOME obscure significance to this episode's number, but for some reason, we neglected to go there.

Giant-Sized That Gets My Goat 68

Big and Rish continue, in the aftermath of DuPoReMo, to talk about ambition, pride, The Broken Mirror Story Event 2012, regrets, TROLL 2, achievements, and the future of the regular podcast.

Rish here. I meant to cut this into a couple of different shows (and I did cut a significant part out, which, sadly, is referred to within, because what we talk about hasn't happened yet), but I've gotten so behind that I figured I'd just put it out here. Enjoy?

That Gets My Goat 67: Duporemo Post-mortem

So, in the month of February, the Dunesteef boys published a mini-podcast every single day. What's the verdict? Will they ever do it again? Was it such a horrible experience that they're now burned out on podcasting altogether?

Maybe they'll say something about that here. Maybe not.

Rish on "Cast of Wonders"

Friend-of-the-show Graeme Dunlop has a young person-friendly Fantasy podcast called "Cast of Wonders" podcast (www.castofwonders.org). Graeme also has a crazy person-friendly fantasy about Angela Lansbury and a bottle of Wesson oil, but that's beside the point. Anyway, on his show, he's put up three readings of the same poem, "Eggs Under Moon" by Elizabeth Barette, and one of those readings was by yours truly.

Yes, a poem. I know I've gone over this before, but I know so little about poetry, that Big had to stand over my shoulder, telling me how to read it. Even so, it might be interesting to hear how three different people interpret the same words.

And if you listen closely, I think you'll hear Big in there as well.

Rish Wordsworth Outfield

P.S. Maybe that Lansbury fantasy is more my bag than Graeme's.
