Rish Stories To Be Had

Rish here.  There are a couple items of mine you can check out and/or buy, if you're of a mind.

This tells about a young man on a long space voyage, sending messages home to his soon-to-be-worried fiance. "Greetings from the Ninth Sector" is already out there as an episode of the Dunesteef, as my entry in the Triple Word Score contest, but this is the original, lengthier version.  Is it superior?  Well, I think so, but of course I'd say that.

Here's your link on Smashwords: www.smashwords.com/books/view/634928 (yeah, I'm trying that one again).

"Unique Combination" is a little tale that was my half of a recent Broken Mirror-type prompt between Big and me: A group of boys mix together a Suicide (all the soda fountain flavors at the same time) . . . with surprising results.  I've not read Big's take on the idea, but maybe he'll put his out there too.

Check it out here: www.smashwords.com/books/view/637834

"Rest Stop" is another short story, this one about a newly-divorced man leaving town in a pickup truck, with his trusty dog beside him.  But he chooses the wrong place to pull off on the side of the road.

Here this one is on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Rest-Stop-Rish-Outfield-ebook/dp/B018NSYWNG

And here's one more.  "Like A Good Neighbor" was a story I wrote a couple of years back with the intention of running it on the Dunesteef.  It's a bit of a long story, but the actress we had in mind for the main character was never heard from again.  The story is about a girl who discovers that her next door neighbor is not what she seems.  Or is exactly what she seems, if Old Widow Holcomb seems to be a witch.

You can scoop this up here: www.amazon.com/Like-Good-Neighbor-Rish-Outfield-ebook/dp/B01G071R80

As you know, it's hard for me to do this self-promotion thing, and I don't do it often.  But feel free to buy any or all of these, and I'd appreciate it.

That Gets My Goat 178: I Only Watch For The Commercials

Continuing our conversation from last time, we try to hit on every single possible TV show that comic book fans might be interested in. I'm sure we failed miserably at that as much as we do at everything else, but there should be something in there that might possibly kinda interest you.

Rish's Story "Stormy Weather" Available on Amazon & Audible

A story I wrote, and never published, is available to buy, if you're feeling curious.  Or only generous.

It's called "Stormy Weather," and is set in a little farming town about to be hit by a big snowstorm.  Jeremy Cooper, the mayor, gathers the entire community together where they will be safe, but it seems he forgot about Ugly Trudy Pitter . . . the one town citizen he is afraid of.

This is one of several stories I hope to release over the next few months, and you can either purchase the text version on Amazon (www.amazon.com/Stormy-Weather-Rish-Outfield-ebook/dp/B01ECZVZY8) or the audio version I performed over at Audible.com (http://www.audible.com/pd/Fiction/Stormy-Weather-Audiobook/B01F73ZW4I).

As always, thanks for your support!

That Gets My Goat 177: What Else Is On?

It's time to talk TV. The Fall/Winter season is over and the Spring/Summer stuff is kicking off. Big and Rish talk about the amazing variety of nerd-centric TV offerings available, and do their best to touch on each and every one.

TGMG 176: Writing A Novel In 3 Days (and Other Horror Stories)

After getting a great deal of encouragement in 2015, Rish went to another writing conference this year. And for a minute or so there, Big came too.
