TGMG 132: Where Is Thy Sting?

Big and Rish had a favorite musician in common in the form of Sting.  In this episode, they talk about their memories of (and frustrations with) this particular Rock & Roll star/Jazz musican/Country artist/Classical crooner/Lute player.

NOTE: This was recorded last year (in Big's old house even) as what we have come to refer to as Evergreen Episodes, which are conversations we record that can be edited and aired regardless of when we get around to releasing them.  Unfortunately, since that time, Sting has put out a new album, "The Last Ship," filled with songs written for a forthcoming musical play about the shipyards of Newcastle, where he grew up.  If and when Big and Rish ever see this play, be assured, we'll do an episode about it.

  1. Sting covers the Beatles' "A Day in the Life" on the _Demolition Man_ single. It's a great cover. That's also the album where I was introduced to "King of Pain".
