Today, I got word from Sudden Death Nicole that all of the stories from our Triple Word Score contest have been evaluated and scored. Yes, the whole thing was waiting on me, but there were a hell of a lot of stories to go through.
She has tallied the points up and compiled some kind of spreaded sheet with the scores on it. So, Big and I will have to lay this sheet out on a desk (or on a floor if it's a bedsheet rather than a sheet of paper) and look it over. When we do, we'll decide how many of the stories to run on the show, and start handing them out to producers to put together.*
I may come back here and reveal the number of stories forthcoming in this post, but I may also forget. Regardless, thanks to all the judges that read and graded the thirty-something stories, and thanks as always to Nicole, for being our long suffering submissions editor. If it weren't for you, we wouldn't have an episode for you this month.
Oh, wait a minute . . .
Rish
*If you are a producer (or a would-be producer) and would like to take one of the stories, let us know over at editor (at) dunesteef (dot) com. Remember, these are all two thousand words or less.
