It was set in Prohibition-Era Chicago, where the mayor was seeking re-election by raising the dead to vote. It's based on the true corruption of pets and dead folks "vote" in local elections due to the massive Democrat Machine. <br /><br />Anyway, "Dead and Breakfast" reminded me of that tale.
